About Me
I am a detail-oriented and relationship-driven senior communication student at Auburn University, with a strong background in event planning, marketing, and public relations. My professional experience, including roles with Auburn Athletics, the Auburn University Board of Trustees, and serving on the Executive Council of my sorority, has allowed me to develop a comprehensive skill set in event execution, strategic campaign management, and multi-platform communication. The education I have received through Auburn’s public relations curriculum has further strengthened my ability to think critically, communicate effectively, and apply strategic principles in real-world settings, preparing me to contribute meaningfully in a professional environment. I am a personable individual who values the importance of building strong professional and personal relationships, which I believe are essential for effective service.
My professional approach is grounded in the belief that strong relationships are essential to successful collaboration and meaningful work. I take pride in my ability to manage both big-picture strategy and small details with precision, creativity, and care. With a passion for connecting people and telling stories that matter, I am committed to delivering work that reflects both excellence and authenticity.
I’m passionate about using clear, thoughtful communication to connect with others, tell impactful stories, and influence positive change.
A glimpse into who I am
Invest deeply
I value investing deeply into the community around me because it’s where I’ve found the most growth and joy. Through leading Young Life at Lee-Scott Academy, being part of a local church, and stepping into internships and leadership roles across campus, I’ve been able to root myself fully in all that Auburn has to offer. It’s never been about just staying busy—it’s about being present, building real relationships, and giving my best to the places and people that matter. The lessons I’ve learned through investing in Auburn’s community will guide how I build meaningful connections and create impact throughout my career and beyond. It’s taught me that when I invest deeply, I not only help shape a place—I let it shape me too. These experiences have shown me the kind of intentional investment I want to carry into every community I’m part of in the future.
Try everything
One of my core values is embracing every opportunity—even the ones that feel unfamiliar or challenging at first. Saying yes to new experiences has shaped who I am, from leading Young Life at Lee-Scott Academy to interning in professional spaces and stepping into the role of Marketing Director for Chi Omega. With Young Life, I’ve had the privilege of walking through life with high school girls—showing up consistently, leading small groups, and learning how to love people well in all seasons. At the same time, being Marketing Director has taught me how to take creative ideas from vision to production, lead a team, and oversee large projects that shape our chapter’s image. Both roles have pushed me to grow in different ways, but together they’ve shown me that trying new things, especially when they stretch me, is where the real growth happens.
Strive for excellence
One of my core values is striving for excellence, not just in my work, but in how I approach every aspect of my life. I’ve learned that excellence doesn’t mean being perfect, but rather embracing the process, including failure. Failing has taught me valuable lessons about redirection and the importance of learning from mistakes. Whether it’s pushing through a class or stepping into a new leadership role, I aim to give my all and grow from each experience. I’ve also made it a priority to make a meaningful impact in the relationships I have—whether it’s with my friends, mentoring younger girls, or learning from my mentors. Striving for excellence means being intentional about how I show up for others and continuously improving myself to make a lasting difference, both academically and relationally.
